The group stage draw for the 2025 Africa Beach Volleyball Championship in Morocco has been announced, with Team Ghana set to compete in both the men’s and women’s categories.
In the women’s competition, Ghana has been placed in two groups—Pool E and Pool F.
In Pool E, the duo of Rashaka Katadat and Benedicta Akorli will take on Egypt and Burundi.
Pool F will feature Grace Dagadu and Joana Mensah, who face a challenging group that includes Rwanda, Gambia, and Mozambique.
On the men's side, Paul Akan and Abdul Hameed Ibrahim will compete in Pool G against Kenya and Nigeria.
In Pool H, Emmanuel Adamitey and Nicholas Tetteh are set to face Burundi, Benin, and Egypt.
The championship, which runs from June 22 to 30 in Casablanca, also serves as a qualifier for the World Beach Volleyball Championship to be held in Australia this August.
Team Ghana will be hoping to book a ticket to the global stage with strong performances in Morocco.
