Former Vice President of Ghana, Mahamudu Bawumia has expressed his excitement about the imminent transfer of Ghanaian Mohammed Kudus to “his club” Tottenham Hotspur.
The North London club have reached an agreement with West Ham for the 24-year-old worth £55m.
Kudus is expected to undergo medical and signed a six-year contract with the UEFA Europa League holders.
I am excited to see our Ghanaian starboy make this move to my @SpursOfficial. All the best in your medical @KudusMohammedGH

West Ham initially rejected Spurs’ £50m bid for the attacking midfielder, but a £5m increment has expedited the deal.
If concluded, Kudus will become Ghana’s most expensive signing of all time, surpassing the €55m Arsenal paid for Thomas Partey from Atlético Madrid in 2020.
Chelsea were interested in Kudus, but Spurs became the forward’s preferred destination.
Spurs boss Thomas Frank is understood to be a fan of Kudus and remains keen on bringing the forward to the London club.
