The newly elected Regional Executives of the Volta Region chapter of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) have officially been sworn into office at the Ho High Court Complex.
His Honour Osman Abdul Hakeem, Esq., representing the Supervising High Court Judge, His Lordship Justice John Ekow Mensah administered the oaths of office and allegiance to the new executives.
The inducted officers include the Chairman, Dr. Harrison Kofi Belley, Vice Chairperson, Ms. Ivy Priscilla Setordjie, Secretary, Lambert Kofi Atsivor, and Treasurer, King Freeman Nutsukpoe.

The GJA Chairman for the Oti Region, Nana Kwabena Ntow, was also sworn in as the sole elected officer for the region.
Members of the association and media practitioners from Ho were present to witness the short but symbolic ceremony.
The Regional Chairman, Dr. Belley stressed the importance of unity among the rank and file of the association and the media fraternity and called for a united front aftermath of the elections.

He pledged his commitment to fulfilling his flagship promises of completing the Volta Press Centre Phase II project and revamping the Regional Awards scheme, among others.
He reaffirmed “the leadership’s dedication to improving communication, increasing regional visibility, and ensuring national recognition. He therefore called on all media practitioners and stakeholders to support the new GJA-Volta administration in fostering a resilient and influential media landscape.”
