The Chief of Staff of the Republic of Ghana, Julius Debrah, has extended a heartfelt invitation to corporate leaders across the country to participate in the 2025 Joy Sports Invitational Tournament, set to take place at the University of Ghana Stadium on Saturday, August 9.
The event will take place at the University of Ghana Stadium.
"Let’s compete, connect, and celebrate the spirit of wellness and excellence," he said
Mr Debrah described sports, health, and wellness as “indispensable components of a productive workforce and a healthy society."
He applauded the Multimedia Group for sustaining this remarkable tradition.

The event—now a flagship on the corporate sports calendar—takes on added significance this year as it coincides with Multimedia’s 30th anniversary celebrations.
“This year’s tournament is not just about competition,” he emphasised.
“It is about celebrating excellence, fostering camaraderie, and strengthening the partnerships that define Corporate Ghana.”
A known advocate for fitness and leadership through example, he revealed his personal preparation to deliver the ceremonial kick-off on the day, encouraging fellow CEOs, Managing Directors, and Institutional Heads to “rally their teams and energise their staff” for what promises to be an unforgettable experience.

“A healthy workforce is a high-performing one. As leaders, we must inspire our teams not only in the boardroom but also on the field—where camaraderie, wellness, and excellence thrive,” he declared.
With anticipation building, the Joy Sports Invitational is set to be more than a tournament—it will be a symbol of Ghana’s commitment to balance, teamwork, and national progress through shared experiences beyond the office walls.
