A phone seller has been found dead under the Kasoa overpass in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region.
According to the Municipal Director of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), Nash Nyande Adams, the deceased, whose identity has not yet been disclosed, had earlier complained of severe stomach pains before his body was discovered in the early hours of Tuesday.

Mr Adams confirmed that the man was a known phone dealer in the Kasoa area.

While the exact cause of death remains unclear, he noted that it is not yet certain whether the deceased may have ingested a poisonous substance.

The body has been taken into custody for further examination as investigations continue into the circumstances surrounding the death.
