Member of Parliament for Asante Akim North, Ohene Kwame Frimpong, has refuted circulating rumours on social media that he had been arrested in the United Kingdom.
In a recent video, the MP appeared visibly relaxed, filmed while lounging in bed, as he addressed the claims.
“There are those who do not see all the good works that I do. All they seek is evil, and circulate unfounded rumours about me," he said.
The Member of Parliament for Asante Akyem North, Hon. Ohene Kwame Frimpong, has dismissed rumours circulating on social media suggesting that he had been arrested in the UK.

He played a WhatsApp voice note from a supposed female teacher in his constituency who had expressed joy over the supposed arrest.
He described it as shocking.
Mr Frimpong entered Parliament following the 2024 elections as an independent candidate.
