Global Info Analytics has revealed that the overwhelming majority of NPP delegates have rejected religious and ethnic considerations in their choice of who becomes the party's 2028 Flagbearer.

Some aspirants and their supporters in the race have been making a case for delegates to consider the religious and ethnic affiliation of their next flagbearer.

Some are going to the extent of suggesting the party lost the last elections due to the religious and ethnic affiliations of its presidential candidate.

However, in its latest survey, Global Info Analytics' findings revealed that the overwhelming majority of delegates do not give consideration to religion and ethnicity.

"In the poll of NPP delegates just released, data we did not include in the main report but found it relevant to release this morning is how the religion and ethnicity of the candidates influenced their choices," Musa Dankwa, head of Global Info Analytics, wrote on his Facebook page.

"The poll shows that 82% said the religion of the candidates isn't important, while 83% said ethnicity isn't important," he continued.

Musa Dankwa added, however, that only "9% of the delegates say religion is important, while 8% said ethnicity is important."
