Ghana’s Interior Minister, Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, has met with Saudi Arabia’s Interior Minister, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, to chart new paths for security cooperation between the two countries.
At the Riyadh meeting, the two leaders discussed ways to strengthen collaboration in counter-terrorism, border management, and capacity building.

They also reviewed opportunities to expand bilateral ties beyond security, underscoring the importance of deeper engagement between Ghana and Saudi Arabia.
The talks marked a significant step in accelerating relations between the two nations.

Both ministers expressed optimism that the partnership would help tackle shared security challenges while advancing peace and stability at the global level.
The visit highlighted Ghana’s growing push to forge stronger international alliances and Saudi Arabia’s commitment to broadening cooperation with African partners.
