The Multimedia Group Limited (MGL), Ghana's leading independent media and entertainment conglomerate, has been named the 'Media Organisation of the Year, 2024' at the 36th Annual National Marketing Performance Awards of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana (CIMG).
The prestigious award was conferred at a glamorous ceremony held at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra, a gathering that celebrated the finest marketing and business achievements across various sectors for the 2024 performance year.

In its citation, the Governing Council of the CIMG acknowledged MGL's unparalleled reach and impact across its diverse portfolio of six radio brands (Joy FM, Adom FM, Asempa FM, Luv FM, Nhyira FM, Hitz FM), two online assets (MyJoyOnline.com, AdomOnline.com), and its television network (JoyNews, Joy Prime and Adom TV).

The CIMG assessment, known for its rigour, considers criteria such as marketing effectiveness, brand visibility, customer orientation, financial performance, and societal impact.

On the night, MGL's MyJoyOnline walked away with the 'Online News Portal of The Year, 2024' while Asempa FM's Ekosiisen emerged as the ‘Radio Programme of The Year, 2024’.
