The Managing Director of Labadi Beach Hotel, David Eduaful, has credited the hotel’s unmatched consistency in service delivery and unwavering focus on customer value as the driving forces behind its induction into the CIMG Hall of Fame. He made the statement after winning the CIMG Hospitality Facility of the Year Award for four consecutive years.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with JoyBusiness, Mr. Eduaful shared insights into the hotel’s strategy, resilience, and upcoming activities as they gear up for a busy yuletide season.
“We are consistent in what we do. Our service delivery is consistent. We try to improve our services and offer new things all the time,” he said.

Labadi Beach Hotel, which has long been regarded as one of Ghana’s premier hospitality destinations, has built a strong reputation for providing luxury, comfort, and authentic Ghanaian experiences.
According to Mr. Eduaful, what sets the hotel apart isn’t just the grandeur or amenities, but the relentless commitment to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement
“Why do they come? It’s because they know the value they will gain while at Labadi Beach Hotel. It’s all about value for money, and that is what we strive towards,” he explained.

The hotel’s recognition by the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG) as well as other honours speaks volumes about the consistency and excellence it delivers to both local and international guests.
“So, for us to win the CIMG Hospitality Facility Award for four consecutive times and to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, it tells you the kind of efforts we have put into achieving this,” he added proudly.

Beyond awards and recognition, Mr. Eduaful noted that the hotel has taken deliberate steps to refresh its offerings, introduce new experiences, and tailor its services to evolving customer needs. From fine dining options and wellness packages to business-friendly amenities and curated cultural events, Labadi Beach Hotel is setting the pace in Ghana’s hospitality space.
As the festive season approaches, the hotel is preparing an exciting lineup of activities and offerings for guests and families. Management is confident the yuletide season will not only bring in significant patronage but also offer an opportunity to showcase the warmth and excellence the brand has come to represent.

“This Christmas will be a special one for our guests. We’ve curated packages that cater to families, couples, corporate groups, and solo travellers looking for a memorable end to the year.” Mr. Eduaful hinted,
The success story of Labadi Beach Hotel serves as a model for the broader hospitality industry in Ghana especially as the sector continues its recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic and the positive ride enjoyed from government initiatives such as the “Year of Return” and “Beyond The Return” campaigns which Mr. Eduaful admits has increased patronage during and after the yuletide.

Mr. Eduaful believes that Ghana’s hospitality players must prioritize customer experience, staff training, and continuous innovation if they are to compete globally and attract more tourists and business travellers into the country.
