The government has expressed its commitment to collaborating with faith-based organisations undertaking projects that benefit entire communities.
Some of these initiatives include constructing schools and hospitals, providing loan support, and offering disaster relief.

Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has assured that the government will continue to support such efforts.

Speaking at the closing Mass of the 2025 Rosary Congress, the Vice President emphasised that these initiatives are driven by national interest rather than personal gain.

She further revealed that the government will assist the Catholic Church in completing the Legacy of Hope Paediatric and Childhood Cancer Hospital in Adjen Kotoku, located in the Ga West District of the Greater Accra Region.

“Government will work with the Church because this request serves the greater good,” she stated.
The Metropolitan Archbishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Accra, Most Rev. John Bonaventure Kwofie, described the construction of the Legacy of Hope Hospital as a beacon of hope and compassion for children facing cancer and other serious medical conditions.

He highlighted that the facility will provide essential healthcare services to children across Ghana.

Once completed, the hospital will feature an Outpatient Department (OPD), theatre, radiology unit, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), pharmacy, medical block, maternity ward, and special accommodations for patients and their families.
