Prempeh College has once again proven why they remain one of the fiercest contenders in the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ), after securing a commanding victory in their contest against Benkum SHS and Suhum SHS.
The four-time champions dominated every round of the competition, finishing with an impressive 62 points — the highest score recorded so far in the day’s contests. Suhum SHS put up a spirited fight but could only manage 37 points, while Benkum SHS ended with 13 points.
From the first bell, it was clear Prempeh had come prepared. Their precision, speed, and teamwork kept the audience cheering through all five rounds. By the end of round one, they had already built a strong lead — one they refused to relinquish.

Their most remarkable feat came during the Problem of the Day, where they scored a perfect 10 out of 10, drawing loud applause from the audience at the Cape Coast auditorium.
With this win, Prempeh College not only maintains their seeded status but also sends a bold message to other contenders eyeing the championship trophy — the Amanfuo are here to conquer once again.
The energy, confidence, and composure displayed by the team reminded many of the Prempeh College that lifted the NSMQ trophy in 2021. As they advance to the one-eighth stage, one thing is certain — they’re not just competing; they’re dominating.
