Nigerian singer, Stanley Omah Didia, popularly known as Omah Lay, has reacted to his maiden Grammy Awards nomination.
DAILY POST reports that Omah Lay earned his first-ever Grammy nomination with his collaborative hit with Davido, ‘With You’, which was nominated for the Best African Music Performance category at the 68th annual Grammy Awards.
Reacting via his Instagram page, Omah Lay said he was excited about the nomination, but added that he doesn’t care about awards.
He, however, said he wants Davido to win the award, describing him as his realest friend in a while.
“I’m excited about this Grammy nomination haha but fr fr I don’t give a sh!t about awards. Yeah but I really want it for OBO! he is the realest friend I’ve had in while, he stood by during my hardest times,” Omah Lay wrote.

The 2026 Grammy is scheduled for February 1, 2026, at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, with a global broadcast on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.
