Ghanaian music producer Joker Nharnah, born Joshua Aime Adjei, has taken a major step in his career with the release of his debut single Lucky featuring BET Award winner and long-time collaborator Black Sherif.
Joker Nharnah is widely known for shaping some of Black Sherif’s biggest moments, with production credits on Kwaku The Traveller, Konongo Zongo, Soja, Run, Changes, Soma Obi, Zero and notable work for Blaqbonez on Road Runners.
His distinct style has earned him a reputation as one of the leading young sound architects redefining the direction of African music. He has steadily positioned himself as a key figure in the wave of producers rising on the global front.
Speaking on the new release, Black Sherif noted, “I’ve been on a daring musical journey with Joker, and it’s just poetically excellent that LUCKY is our first single together as artistes. The song represents how we feel about ourselves as creators, students and basically as guys who really genuinely love this music thing.”
The production on Lucky blends smooth grooves with lively percussion, giving the track a warm, sun-soaked feel that nods to classic highlife while pushing the sound into a modern and globally appealing space.
