The RNAQ Foundation, the philanthropic extension of RNAQ Holdings, has inaugurated four new food bank branches across the Kumasi metropolis.
The expansion project was personally led by the President of RNAQ Holdings, Richard Nii Armah-Quaye.

The newly operational centers are strategically positioned to serve key communities, including Bantama, Asafo, Anloga, and Alabar. The initiative was hailed as historically significant by traditional leadership.
Speaking at the opening of the Bantama branch, the Bantamahene, Baffour Owusu Amankwatia VI, expressed profound appreciation, calling the food bank initiative "one of the most philanthropic projects" he had ever witnessed.

"We have heard of philanthropists around the world, but for the first time in the history of our country, a benefactor has initiated this kind of sustained, heartwarming gesture," the Bantamahene stated, emphasising the unprecedented nature of the program's daily commitment.
Mr. Armah-Quaye, acknowledging the immense support for his business from the Kumasi metropolis over the years, reiterated the Foundation’s dedication.

He assured the community of a steadfast pledge to provide food support every day of the week, for the foreseeable future, ensuring sustained relief for vulnerable residents.
The Kumasi expansion is a key milestone for the RNAQ Foundation, which formally launched its food bank initiative at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel on August 1, 2025.

The national network now includes five existing branches in Accra, one in Cape Coast, and two in Tamale. The RNAQ Foundation remains optimistic and committed to its ultimate goal: establishing operational food bank branches in all sixteen regions of Ghana.
