Ghana international Abdul Fatawu Issahaku produced a moment of sheer brilliance, scoring a Puskás Award–worthy goal in Leicester City’s 3–1 victory over Ipswich Town on Saturday.
The 21-year-old winger collected a loose ball inside his own half, skipped past a defender, and unleashed a sensational strike from nearly 70 yards out that sailed over goalkeeper Christian Walton and into the net, leaving the crowd in disbelief.
It was another reminder of Fatawu’s extraordinary talent, having previously scored similar long-range efforts for Ghana’s U-20 and U-23 national teams.
