A heated exchange broke out on Newsfile between the Chief Executive Officer of GoldBod, Sammy Gyamfi, and Member of Parliament for Walewale, Dr Tiah Abdul-Kabiru Mahama, over the incorporation date of Bawa Rock Company Limited.
The disagreement on Friday, January 3, centred on when Bawa Rock was formally incorporated, with both men presenting opposing claims during the live discussion.
Mr Gyamfi questioned the timeline being advanced by Dr Mahama, insisting that the official records did not support the date cited.
Dr Tiah Mahama, however, maintained that his position was grounded in documentary evidence, pushing back against Mr Gyamfi’s assertions.
The back-and-forth prompted interventions from the host, Samson Anyenini, as tensions rose.
