The Chief Executive Officer of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), Godwin Edudzi Tamekloe, has affirmed that the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC)’s Reset Agenda is underway and stressed that its full realisation depends on the active participation of the country’s institutions.
According to him, "The Reset Agenda is in motion, and it behoves on all in public and private organisations to play their roles in contributing to the building of the Ghana we want to ensure sustainable development," he said.
Mr Tamekloe made the remarks while delivering a goodwill message at the opening of the University of Ghana’s 77th Annual New Year School and Conference (ANYSC) on Tuesday, January 6.
The flagship academic and policy engagement platform is organised by the School of Continuing and Distance Education (SCDE) under the College of Education, University of Ghana, and it is on the theme “Building the Ghana We Want, Together for Sustainable Development.”
Mr Tamekloe added that "It is therefore gratifying that the premier university, the University of Ghana, has aligned the theme of this year's New Year School to the Reset Agenda."
He noted that his Authority is also playing its part in ensuring sustainable development by introducing key policies, including the formation of a 24-hour steering committee at the Authority, envisioning a sustainable downstream sector, and ensuring that the NPA supplies quality fuel for public consumption.
