The Member of Parliament for Ofoase-Ayirebi, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, has assured members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) that no one will be sidelined following the party’s flagbearer election.
Speaking on Joy FM’s Super Morning Show, Mr Oppong Nkrumah, who served in the campaign team for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, said the party is committed to inclusiveness and unity as it moves forward.
According to him, party members will be given the opportunity to serve in various capacities, regardless of the camp they belonged to during the flagbearer race.
He stressed that affiliation to a particular candidate would not be a basis for exclusion.
"I can assure you that the party will afford all of us the opportunity and the motivation to participate fully, and I know all our other colleagues who are on different teams have the abilities. We all have the abilities, we will all be given the opportunity and motivation, and I have no doubt that we can all hold hands and walk together to give Red, White and Blue its best opportunity in 2028," he said on Monday.
Mr Oppong Nkrumah said the approach is aimed at strengthening the party ahead of future electoral contests.
