The Member of Parliament for Ketu North Constituency in the Volta Region, Edem Agbana, has been presented with a pair of customised black leather slippers by GoldCoast Tokota, a Ghanaian footwear brand, in recognition of his ongoing support for young entrepreneurs and homegrown businesses.
The presentation took place during a visit to the MP’s office by the founder and Chief Executive Officer of GoldCoast Tokota, providing an opportunity to discuss plans to recruit and train youths from Ketu North in shoemaking, as part of broader efforts to promote skills development and youth employment.
Mr. Agbana praised the company for its commitment to quality craftsmanship and local innovation, describing initiatives like GoldCoast Tokota as vital to Ghana’s industrial and creative growth.
He encouraged the brand to continue prioritising excellence and innovation to help position Ghanaian-made products on the global market.
The Ketu North MP also reaffirmed his commitment to supporting initiatives that empower young people through entrepreneurship and vocational training.
