First Lady Lordina Dramani Mahama on Saturday, February 14, joined her colleagues at the 30th Ordinary Assembly of the Organisation of African First Ladies for Development (OAFLAD), taking place on the margins of the 39th Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union in Addis Ababa.

The theme for this year's two-day gathering is "Building Resilience," focused on strengthening African communities amid current global challenges.

The first ladies and their technical advisors held a closed-door meeting following the opening session before joining their husbands for the official opening of the 39th Assembly of Heads of State and Government.

Mrs Mahama, renowned for her dedication to women's empowerment, children's welfare, and community development, is scheduled to address the assembly on Sunday.
