Hearts of Oak have to win more Ghana Premier League matches if they are to emerge champions, says head coach Didi Dramani.
The Phobians sit second on the league table with 39 points, five behind leaders Medeama.
This follows their crucial victory over Asante Kotoko - their first since 2023 - thanks to Baba Adamu’s 14th-minute looping header at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
"We appreciated their [Kotoko] strength and appreciated our strength, and then we knew there were going to be moments where we would control the game,” Dramani said in a post-match interview.
"The most important thing is to keep the consistency, to keep winning matches.
"If you want to become a champion, we have to win games; it is not about how you play."
Hearts have won 10 matches after Week 22 and face Berekum Chelsea in their next outing.
