Dele Momodu, a popular Nigerian politician and publisher of Ovation Magazine, has disclosed that talks are ongoing with Adeleke’s family to settle the legal dispute between singer Davido and Sophia Momodu.
He made this known while responding to the calls from the general public to intervene in the ongoing child custody battle between the singer and his first baby mama, Sophia Momodu, who is Dele Momodu’s niece.
Davido had a week withdraw the custody case, after Sophia’s lawyer made reference to the circumstances surrounding the death of his late son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, in court.
However, reacting to the public calls for his intervention, Dele Momodu, who is currently in Liberia to commiserate with former Vice President Jewel Howard-Taylor over the death of her only child, revealed that talks are ongoing between the two families to resolve the messy dispute.
“Nothing to worry about. Everything is going to be alright. We’re working behind the scenes. Please, keep everyone in your prayers.”
