As we celebrate International Women's Day today, these are my prayers for women.
Prayer #1. May God show you to yourself.
I pray that you catch a revelation of who you truly are. Not the version shaped by other people’s expectations. Not the smaller version that learned to stay quiet, agreeable, or invisible.
The real you.
Because when you truly see yourself through God’s eyes, you stop shrinking into moulds that were never designed to hold you.
I recently heard someone say something that stopped me in my tracks:
Hell is when the person you are now meets the version of you that was possible, but you never reached for.
May that never be our story.
Prayer #2. May God grant you discernment and humility
Discernment to recognise your faults and blind spots.
Humility to acknowledge where growth is required.
Growth demands honesty. Sometimes it requires asking for help. Sometimes it requires paying for the wisdom, coaching, therapy, or mentorship that can help rescue you from cycles you cannot break alone.
I pray you have the courage to do that work.
Prayer #3. May God heal your relationships
Many women carry wounds from disappointment, betrayal, and broken trust. Over time, those wounds can make us guarded, withdrawn, even lonely.
But the truth is this: many of the blessings, opportunities, and breakthroughs God has prepared for us come through the vehicle of relationships.
Friendships. Partnerships. Mentors. Community.
So today I pray healing over the places in your heart that have closed off. I pray for restoration where trust once felt impossible.
Happy International Women's Day 🙏🥰😇🥳
