Corruption cannot be addressed in silence, the Minister of Justice and Attorney-General, Dr Dominic Akuritinga Ayine, has said, stressing that open collaboration among key stakeholders is essential to tackling the menace in Ghana.
Speaking through Solicitor-General Mrs Helen Akpene Awo Ziwu at a national forum organised by the Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA) on Thursday, March 26, Dr Ayine noted that silence only emboldens corrupt actors.
He highlighted that a coordinated and coherent approach involving the media, investigative agencies, and the judiciary is critical to holding perpetrators accountable.
He reaffirmed his commitment to the fight against corruption, revealing that his office has begun taking steps to enhance prosecutorial capacity to ensure that cases are effectively pursued through the legal system.
