The Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Authority (NYA), Osman Ayariga, on Friday, August 7, paid a courtesy call on the National Chief Imam to brief him on preparations for the upcoming National Youth Conference.

The visit forms part of the Authority’s stakeholder engagement efforts aimed at ensuring broad national support for the conference, which is expected to bring together young people, policymakers, development partners, faith-based organisations and other key stakeholders to discuss issues affecting Ghana’s youth.

During the meeting, Mr Ayariga outlined the objectives of the conference and underscored the importance of involving religious leaders in shaping conversations around youth development, national unity and responsible citizenship.

The National Chief Imam welcomed the initiative and commended the National Youth Authority for engaging traditional and religious leaders in its preparations.

He encouraged the Authority to remain committed to programmes that promote discipline, patriotism and opportunities for young people across the country.
