Elfsborg defender Terry Yegbe has been handed a debut call-up to the Black Stars for the last two games of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
The 23-year-old becomes a late addition to the squad after Otto Addo named his team for the fixtures against Angola and Niger.
Joy Sports understands the defender is currently on his way to Ghana after departing Sweden alongside club teammate Michael Baidoo who has also been invited for the two games.
Yegbe has been a big part of Elfsborg's season in both the Swedish League and the UEFA Europa League contributing six clean sheets in the domestic league.
The centre-back featured in 22 league games starting all and scoring three goals in the period. He also added one assist to his tally this term.
Yegbe has also started all four of Elfsborg's four games in the Europa League this campaign and managed one clean sheet, coming in the win over AS Roma.
It will be the first time the former SJK man is being invited to the senior national team with his last national assignment being with the Black Meteors during the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Ghana face Angola away on November 15 before playing at the Accra Sports Stadium three days later against Niger.
The Black Stars are on the cusp of missing out on an AFCON appearance for the first time since 2000.
