Felix Afena-Gyan, Abdul Samed Salis and Kwame Opoku, are among six players making a return to the Black Stars after being named in coach Otto Addo’s squad for the Unity Cup in London.
Afena-Gyan returns to the national team for the first time since 2022, while Salis Samed is back following an injury that sidelined him for much of the season.
Kwame Opoku, who has impressed for Asante Kotoko since returning from USM Alger, scoring 10 goals in 18 matches, earns a recall after last featuring for Ghana in a 2021 World Cup qualifier against South Africa in Johannesburg.
The forward will be aiming for his fourth cap.
Stephan Ambrosius, who plays for Swiss side St. Gallen, also rejoins the squad. He made his debut for Ghana in a friendly against Liberia in September 2023.
Ghana will play Nigeria at the GTech Community Stadium in West London on Wednesday, May 28, in a semi-final clash.
The winner will advance to the final of the Unity Cup to face either Jamaica or Trinidad and Tobago.
