The Member of Parliament for the Bantama has donated some sewing machines to dressmakers in the constituency.
Francis Asenso-Boakye made the donation on Tuesday, May 17.

According to him, this is part of his plans to help grow their businesses.
He added that the informal sector contributes largely towards socio-economic development of the country as such, they deserve every form of assistance.

“As part of plans to equip local artisans with tools for their work, I donated sewing machines to a section of dressmakers in the Bantama Constituency.”

“This, I believe, will go a long way to help the beneficiaries to grow their businesses. The informal sector contributes largely towards the socio-economic development of our country, and therefore, deserves our active support and encouragement.”
