The lead convener of the #FixTheCountry Movement, Oliver Barker-Vormawor, has been taken to the East Legon Police cells after he was arraigned before the Madina District Court.
He has been charged with careless and inconsiderate driving.
Barker-Vormawor subsequently announced the charge on his personal Facebook page.
He was arrested Tuesday, May 17, by officers of the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) of the Ghana Police Service.
Meanwhile, he has also said he has been arrested three times this year alone for his activism works.
He added that following those arrests, he has equally been sued three times – twice by the Ghana Police Service and once by the Electoral Commissioner.
“Very bizarre that I had never been arrested in life; yet, in just one year of #FixTheCountry activism, I have already been arrested three times.
“I have also been already sued three times, twice by the Ghana Police Service and the Electoral Commissioner,” he wrote on Facebook after his re-arrest on Tuesday morning.
