Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has embarked on a working visit to the Republic of Estonia from Wednesday, January 24, to January 27, 2024.
The purpose of the visit is to explore Estonia's digital economy and examine how Ghana can leverage such advancements.
Gideon Boako, spokesperson for Dr. Bawumia, announced this in a statement dated Tuesday, January 23, 2024.

The Vice President is scheduled to engage in bilateral discussions with key figures during his stay in Estonia, including the President of the Republic of Estonia, Mr. Alar Karis, and the Prime Minister, Ms. Kaja Kallas.
Additionally, meetings will be held with Mr. Luukas Ilves, the Undersecretary for Digital Transformation and Government CIO, as well as Mr. Raigo Uukkivi, the Director General of the Estonian Tax and Customs Board.
Dr. Bawumia is expected to return to Ghana on Saturday, January 27, 2024.
