Rapper Black Sherif has secured his first global nomination in the 2022 edition of the BET Hip Hop Awards.
He was nominated in the coveted Best International Flow category with stiff competition from UK's Knucks, South Africa's Blxckie and France's Benjamin Epps.
Others in the competition include Le Juice from France, Central Cee from the UK, Nadia Nakai from Zimbabwe, Tasha and Tracie from Brazil and Haviah Mighty from Canada.
Black Sherif is the only Ghanaian nominated for the 2022 edition of the BET Hiphop Awards.
Meanwhile, Sarkodie is the first Ghanaian to be nominated in the Best International Flow category since it's inception.
He won the award in 2019.
The 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards is scheduled to take place on September 30, 2022, at Cobb Energy Center in Atlanta.
