Black Stars duo Mohammed Kudus and Thomas Partey are among the nominees for the 2023 CAF Player of the Year award.
Both Kudus and Partey enjoyed a stellar campaign with their respective clubs in the year under review with the former excelling for Ajax before his departure to West Ham United in the summer.
Partey, on the other hand, was inches away from guiding Arsenal to their first league title since the 2003/04 Premier League season as they missed out to Manchester City.
Kudus was directly involved in 25 goals for the Dutch side during the 2022/23 season, scoring 18 goals and providing five assists in 42 appearances. He also starred for the Black Stars at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar where he scored two goals in three games.
Partey also featured in 40 games across all competitions for the Gunners last season and netted three times as they finished second in the Premier League.
The two players played essential roles in helping Ghana qualify for next year's Africa Cup of Nations tournament to be staged in Ivory Coast.
Here is the full list of nominees for the award:

Their teammate, Ernest Nuamah, is also in contention for the Young Player of the Year award.
The event is scheduled to take place on the 11th of December in Morocco.
