Black Stars coach, Otto Addo, says the performances of players at the club level will play a big part in choosing his starting eleven for the game against Brazil on Friday.
The 47-year-old has abundant of top players to pick from in all positions after the latest addition of Inaki Williams, Mohammed Salisu, Tariq Lamptey, Ransford-Yeboah, and Stephan Ambrosius.
Most of the Black Stars attackers are also in hot form for their clubs and will compete for limited starting places.
Ahead of the Brazil clash in France, Otto Addo states it is a good problem to have in his team.
“I will not declare there is pressure, but this is the job as the coach; you always have to find difficult decisions,” he said when asked how difficult it is to choose his starting team against Brazil.
“Also, let’s take it like everybody is doing bad; then it is also a difficult decision.
“This is the way we want to have it; we want our players to have success at their clubs, we want them to score but also to defend well, to play well, and have assists.
“So, it’s not only about scoring. Surely scoring is the obvious thing for everybody but we are monitory all the players and looking at their performances.
“This is for us the measurement. Previous games, performance at their clubs, and they are still training.
“Also, our style of play, our opponent players, and what we need going into the game. The performances at the club is taking a big part in the decision-making.
“We try to bring everything together and then we take a decision. It is very complex, but in the end, we will decide.”
