Chioma Avril Rowland, fiancé of Nigerian artiste Davido, has completely recovered after contracting the novel coronavirus.
This comes after she had been isolated, treated and undergone the mandatory tests to ascertain her status.
Davido took to Twitter to say Chioma recovered after testing negative for the coronavirus twice.
“Glory be to God…Chioma has now tested negative twice for Covid19,” he wrote.
Chef Chi as she is popularly known contracted the virus after she and Davido had returned to Nigeria from the United States.
Members on the ‘If’ hitmaker’s team including himself, Chioma and their baby boy were all tested.
However, only Chioma’s tests came back positive. Davido had to retake the test which also came back negative.
According to Davido, Chioma hardly showed any symptoms even after testing postive for the coronavirus.
The musician thanked fans for supporting his family adding that “thank you all for prayers...We love you.”
