The driver of a Kia Rhino with registration number AS 5365-16 is feared dead after colliding with a tipper truck with registration number GM 2070-21 Gomoa Mangoase on the Agona Swedru-Winneba road in the Central Region.
The KIA Rhino driver was carrying sachets of water while the tipper truck was transporting sand.
The accident occurred in the late afternoon of Friday, October 11, 2024.

The mate of the KIA Rhino also sustained severe injuries with both rushed to Agona Swedru Municipal Hospital.
The Assemblyman for Gomoa Mangoase-Osamkrom Electoral Area, Adams Suleman confirmed the incident to Adom News.
Mr Suleman revealed that the tipper was trying to overtake a taxi but couldn’t succeed and collided with the Kia Rhino with was coming from the opposite direction.

He said the tipper driver and his two mates fled the scene after the accident and are nowhere to be found.
With the intervention of Prison officers in the Osamkrom, the driver and mate of the KIA Rhino who were trapped were removed and rushed for treatment.
