The Ministry of Education has announced an initiative to facilitate the selection of schools for 2023 BECE candidates.
In a statement issued by the Ministry on Friday, August 11, it stated that it had developed a video which would thoroughly inform candidates on the guidelines they must adhere to in the school selection process.
"The video will be featured within schools and extensively broadcast on various television networks across the country," the release signed by the Ministry's spokesperson, Kwasi Kwarteng indicated.
Additionally, it stated that the examinees could access both the school selection form and video at www.freeshs.net — the official website of the Free Senior High School secretariat.
According to the Ministry, the in-School Showing of Selection Guidelines would begin from August 21st to August 25th, 2023.
The School selection has also been scheduled from August 23rd to September 4th, 2023.
The Ministry then urged candidates, their guardians and the public to actively participate in, and utilise the initiative.
