The Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association (ExCo) is scheduled to hold its next meeting on Wednesday, November 20, 2024.
The meeting will see the Council Members deliberate on a number of key issues on the development of football in the country.
Topping the agenda for the meeting is the performance of the Black Stars.
The ExCo will also discuss a planned GFA Retreat, which is expected to take place soon. This retreat is anticipated to provide a platform for members and all stakeholders in Ghana Football to make insightful contributions to discussions aimed at enhancing the development of the game in Ghana.
The ExCo meeting will receive updates on the various domestic competitions, including the Ghana Premier League, the Malta Guinness Women's Premier League, Access Bank Division One League, the MTN FA Cup and the Women's FA Cup.
In addition, the ExCo members will be briefed on the latest developments with the other national teams, including the Black Queens, Black Galaxies, the Black Satellites, Black Princesses, Black Starlets, and the Black Maidens. The U15 Boys and Girls Schools programme will also be discussed.
The Regional Football Associations (RFAs) will also feature prominently on the agenda, with the ExCo members set to receive updates on the activities of the ten RFAs, 2nd Division, 3rd Division, Colts and the Regional Women’s Division One Leagues. Reports will be provided on the KGL U17 Colts Championship and the TDS Elite U15 boys and girls Colts Championships.
Other items on the agenda include updates on the various projects being undertaken by the GFA, including the ongoing works at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence (GSCE) at Prampram.
The meeting promises to be a productive one, with the ExCo members set to make key decisions that will shape the future of Ghana football.
