The Ghana Premier League matchday 16 saw Asante Kotoko continue their unbeaten run of form with a win over Real Tamale United (RTU). 

The Porcupine Warriors claimed a 1-0 victory at the Baba Yara Stadium courtesy of a Steven Mukwala strike from the penalty box. 

The Ugandan striker has now scored five goals in his last five game games for the club in the league. 

Samartex were big winners from the weekend as they hit Karela United for three at the Nsenkyire Stadium. 

The Timber Giants’ victory sees them move to the top of the league log after 16 games played.

Hearts of Oak failed to win once again as they were held to a goalless draw against rivals Great Olympics.
