Ghanaian defender Denis Odoi has signed for Dutch side NAC Breda until the end of the season.
The 37-year-old, who terminated his contract with Royal Antwerp FC last summer, joins as a free agent with an option for an additional year.
NAC sit 16th in the Eredivisie standings and are eyeing a turnaround with the reinforcement.
The club describes Odoi as “experienced” and capable of playing “in all positions at the back and as a defensive midfielder.”
“In the battle for survival in the Eredivisie, we're adding another fighter to the squad,” NAC Technical Director Peter Maas said.
“He’s fit and motivated to play for NAC. With Odoi, the coaching staff now has an extra option.”
The right-back, who teams up with compatriot Kamal Sowah, has begun training at the BO Infra Training Complex in Zundert.
NAC are working to register Odoi for the upcoming away matches against Excelsior Rotterdam and Sparta Rotterdam.
Odoi has featured for several clubs, including KSC Lokeren, Sint-Truiden, OH Leuven, Fulham, Club Brugge, and Anderlecht.
