The 2019/20 Ghana Premier League got underway on Sunday with Hearts of Oak making a losing start while Asante Kotoko collected their first three points of the season.
Hearts were beaten at the Accra Sports Stadium by Berekum Chelsea. Jonah Attuquaye's 34th-minute effort was enough to earn Berekum Chelsea their first win away against the Phobians.
In Kumasi, Justice Blay second-minute header secured Kotoko victory against Eleven Wonders.
There were also wins for AshantiGold, Medeama, WAFA, Dreams FC and Aduana Stars.
