Black Starlets head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum says his side will go into their final game against Cote d'Ivoire looking to avenge their group stage defeat.
Ghana lost 3-0 to the Ivorians in the second group stage game at the ongoing WAFU B U-17 Cup of Nations, the only defeat the Black Starlets have suffered so far in the competition.
That loss was followed by a win over Niger and Nigeria, respectively, which ensured a place in the final of Ogum's side.
"We've played them, we've seen them play, and they've also seen us play, he said in the pre-match, as he looked forward to the rematch against the host country.
"They defeated us, and it's the second time to play them, and I think it's enough motivation for us to come in strongly and make sure what happened in the group stage does not happen again."
The two teams have already secured places in next year's U-17 Africa Cup of Nations by virtue of being in the final of the regional tournament.
However, on Friday, they will be playing for the bragging rights and silverware at the Charles Konan Banny Stadium with a kickoff scheduled for 19:00 GMT.
It will be the third meeting between the two teams since 2022 when Ghana beat Cote d'Ivoire to win bronze medal at this same level.
In 2024, Ghana also commanded a 5-1 win over the Ivorians in their first game at the WAFU B U-17 Championship.
