She used to be a source of attraction for houseflies due to a medical condition she was living with. Her condition Obstetric fistula made her leak faeces uncontrollably thus making her the subject of ridicule in her community.
Grace Essieku's sad story was featured last year in the first part of JoyNews Hotline documentary ‘Twisted by Birth’ produced by Beryl Ernestina Richter.
But now, the story is different because she has successfully undergone surgery to correct the condition.
