Ohemaa Mercy has explained why she loves to listen to secular musicians, Kofi Kinaata and Stonebwoy.
In a recent interview on Daybreak Hitz with DJ Slim, the Ghanaian gospel singer opened up about her preferences when it comes to music.
The gospel minstrel revealed that she has a strong inclination towards songs that impart wisdom and positivity.
Ohemaa Mercy expressed her admiration for certain songs by Kofi Kinaata and Stonebwoy, citing Stonebwoy's "Tuff Seed" as an example of a song that carries inspiring messages.
She even recalled using the song to preach, highlighting its impactful lyrics.
As a minister and musician, Ohemaa Mercy emphasised her commitment to promoting uplifting music.
She stated that she would not allow her household to listen to songs that she considers mere noise, emphasising the importance of meaningful content.
This update reaffirms Ohemaa Mercy's earlier stance on collaborating with secular musicians, which she believes should be based on the individual's lifestyle and values.
