Inter Milan survived a scare against Kazakhstan side Kairat to edge victory and maintain their perfect start to this season's Champions League.
The Italians had won their three previous games in the league phase of the competition, scoring nine goals without reply.
That dominance looked set to continue as they made a strong start to this game, but Lautaro Martinez missed several decent chances and had one effort cleared off the line as the hosts struggled to make the breakthrough.
But the deadlock was broken just before half-time when Inter captain Martinez scrambled in from close range after his initial shot had been blocked.
It felt like Inter would go on to win comfortably, only for Kairat to equalise early in the second half when Ofri Arad headed into the bottom corner.
But Inter kept their cool and regained the lead when Carlos Augusto drove in from the edge of the box.
Inter are level with Bayern Munich and Arsenal on 12 points from four games so far, while Kairat are still searching for their first win.
