Tired of attending all these Christmas events dominated with modern music? Are you exhausted hearing the same old contemporary music over and over again?
If you checked yes to the questions, great! If you checked no that’s even better because Joy FM is bringing to you its annual Keteke Fever, the event which will get you to answer the questions differently.
Keteke Fever is the one concert that teleports participants back to the golden era of the ‘70s and ‘80s with classic music, dance, fashion and unadulterated entertainment.
Back-to-back hits will be the order of the day including songs from Osibisa, Nana Amapdu, AB Crentsil along the foreign mix Cyndi Lauper, Micheal Jackson, Wham!, George Micheal and many others.
On the night, popular tunes such as Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons’ ‘Oh What A Night’, Pointer Sisters’ ‘I'll Take You There’, 10cc’s 'Dreadlock Holiday', Tony Wilson’s ‘New Orleans Music’, Dan-I’s ‘Monkey Chop’, Hues Corporation’s ‘Rock The Boat’, ‘Upside Down’ by Diana Ross among others will get patrons dancing.
Keteke Fever gives the opportunity for the older generation, business and political personalities to reminisce their golden days.
It has over the years been the only avenue where people get unlimited time to unwind and have fun after a stressful year.
This year’s Keteke Fever is happening at the Accra International Conference Centre on Friday, December 27 at 9pm. Tickets are going for a cool GH₵150 and can be purchased at Joy FM and at the gate.
The event is sponsored by Auto Plaza Limited, Jonny Walker, Vaettel and Guinness.
