JoySports, the sports-specializing wing of the Multimedia Group, has reached a partnership agreement with the 2025 Absa Black Star Marathon.
The Absa Black Star Marathon is an annual event, that assembles both elite, amateur and recreational runners to compete in a Marathon and a run/walk.

The Absa Ghana 42.2 kilometer Marathon, is open to men and women aged 18 and over, as well as racing wheelchair participants.
While that is going on, other participants will also compete in a 10kilometer run/walk.
Speaking to JoySports on the collaboration, Eric Kwame Adae, Founder and CEO of the Absa Black Star Marathon, said, “We are extremely thrilled about this collaboration and are confident that your expertise and unmatched track record will be instrumental in making the marathon a resounding success.”

Elite athletes (both local and international), club runners, and endurance enthusiasts, as well as recreational, social, and charity runners are all expected to participate in this year's event.
Scheduled for July 26, this year's event will start at and the Independence Square, taking participants through Danquah Circle, Sankara Interchange and the Ridge Roundabout.
