President John Dramani Mahama is delivering the 2026 State of the Nation Address (SONA) in Parliament.
The address provides a detailed overview of Ghana’s current situation, highlighting progress made across key sectors and outlining the government’s priorities and policy directions for the year ahead.
Critical areas expected to feature include the economy, health, education, agriculture, and infrastructure, alongside updates on Ghana’s international relations and commitments.
The presentation also fulfils a constitutional obligation under Article 67 of the 1992 Constitution, which requires the President to appear before Parliament at the start of each session to report on the state of the nation.
