Ghana’s Ambassador to the United States, Victor Smith, has praised President John Dramani Mahama’s leadership, describing his vision for the country as transformative and rooted in tangible action rather than mere political rhetoric.
Ambassador Smith says the Mahama administration is determined to deliver results that will impress both Ghanaians and the international community.
“For now, we want to impress the people of Ghana. With this current administration, we want to do wonders for Ghana and for the world to see us as such,” he said.
He emphasised that President Mahama’s plans are being actively pursued by his team, adding that there is a shared resolve among appointees to achieve the government’s goals.
“President Mahama has a beautiful vision, it’s not just talk, we’re determined, some of us are determined to make sure that we achieve the vision, what he sets out to do for Ghana,” he stated.
The Ambassador’s comments come as the government continues to roll out its “Big Push” agenda and other major initiatives aimed at driving infrastructure development, improving education, and boosting economic growth.
Ambassador Smith was speaking in an interview on Channel One TV on Tuesday, September 23.
