After 18 weeks in both the Southern and Northern Zones, the 2022/23 Malta Guinness Women's Premier League final play-off is set for May 12 with familiar foes meeting again.
For the third consecutive time, Hasaacas Ladies will play Ampem Darkoa Ladies in the Champions of Champions to determine who becomes the overall winner of the season.
For the first time in a long while, both zones had to rely on the final day to know its winner with Hasaacas Ladies piping Faith Ladies in their last game to emerge winners of the Southern Zone.
Ampem Darkoa also recorded a 5-1 victory on the final day to ensure they defended their Northern Zone title.
While the Nana Mma suffered five losses in 18 games, winning nine, the Hasmal Ladies were only defeated on three occasions, registering 12 wins and drawing three as well.
In the previous two seasons, each team has won the Women's Premier League title once with Ampem Darkoa taking last season's with a 5-3 penalty shootout win at the Accra Sports Stadium.
This year's final is however scheduled for the Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in Kumasi on Friday, May 12.
